I posted my photo to Flickr, but it is not showing up yet! That makes me irritated. Flickr needs to show me some respect! Here is my picture:

I have also embedded my picture in my blog post, called, Hello To My New Friends and My True Friends and you can read all about me there.

It is nice to see the faces of my new ds106 Friends!

    Bye!

    Randi and Hayley,
If you don;t have five or six previous images in FLickr, your account might not syndicate. How many images do you have? Including your image here, just in case, is a good ideas as well. It might take a bit of time to show up, but it will. Believe you me ;)

I made sure I had 6 pictures, two of which were tagged for this class. However, I had difficulty seeing my picture so I included it in a link below:

As noted by Jim- the appearance of your photos here is not only less than instant, we have seen it take anywhere from an hour to a day. Your will find on the FAQTANOR (Frequently Asked Questions That Almost No One Reads):

There can be a number of reasons for this. If you just uploaded it first give it at least an hour to show up on the website. Is your Flickr account fairly new? Until at least 5 photos are uploaded to Flickr nothing will show up in tag searches (see flickr’s documentation on this issue). Also make sure the photo is publicly available. And of course it never hurts to double check that you used the appropriate tag for the assignment.

We have seen a few instances (even our accounts and we use flickr a lot) where our tdc tag is listed “you as the only user using this tag” when you can clearly see that others have used it. This usually clears up magically within 24 hours. Trust and wait. Or try a suggestion offered by John Johnston.

But as others have done, adding your link here at least gets you near the board.

One day, we hope to change the Daily Create to work directly from tweeted links rather than fickle services like flickr, SoundCloud, and YouTube

I read through all of the previous comments concerning pictures not being uploaded. I checked the tags, they are all correct. My account on Flickr is public, and I have uploaded at least 5 pictures. I also uploaded my picture this morning, around 11 am, so I assumed 9 hours was enough time to wait. At this point, I’m not really sure why my post isn’t showing up in the feed, so I will post the link here. I hope this will at least credit me for the assignment!

I have not seen my picture uploaded, I posted it around 4 o’clock today. I read through all of the previous comments above about pictures not being uploaded and I also tweeted for help and read a page on daily creates. I checked the tags and they are all correct. My account on Flickr is public and I have uploaded over 5 pictures. I don’t know what else to do so I am following the above people and posting to the comments. I hope this is sufficient!

Sorry we are having some technical issues with flickr, its a bit beyond us. Stay tuned because a new site is in the works that will not rely ion finicky flickr.
