In Spain tonight is known as ‘the old night’ and as well as celebrating the arrival of the new year they say good bye to the old year. I always think that is very quaint. Another things they do is eat 12 grapes at midnight and make a wish with each. Warning: this needs practice. You have to start on the first bell and finish on the 12th.
