Spontaneous Poetry

Compose a poem out loud, about whatever’s in front of you, make a two minute video of the process.

The suggestion from our friends at Poetry Prompts is:

  1. Set a timer
  2. Video yourself or the subject of your poem.
  3. You can: Describe it, ask questions about it, talk about what it makes you think of. Where do your thoughts take you? Try different tones of voice; like you’re giving a speech, like you’re talking to a friend, like you’re talking to yourself.

When you’re done with your video, transcribe your video and edit your masterpiece. We want to see the video!

Upload your video to YouTube with the tags dailycreate and tdc1135 (YouTube seems to work best if you also include tdc1135 in the video title)
