I thought I cared about all the moments we shared
I prayed at night we would work out after graduation
summer came and I felt so free
those memories as a pair didn’t feel as great
thank god for unanswered prayers
Before the night was over

And I cried so much.

And I never actually said it aloud,
but I appreciate it.

and see between
me and my wife
our newborn son.
