Silence is golden,
But duct tape is silver
Silence is everything and nothing;
It can be soft or oppressive
While being empty or unnerving,
It can be comforting or heavy
While being a barrier or insulator,
Silence is beautiful and horrible,
But always tangible
Silent is a quiet noise
Silence is beautiful.
Silence is unnerving
Silence is that thing
That mom has to bring
Each time she wears that ring
While the angels sing
During each Spring
In the fresh, night air,
I roll, silent, on the beach.
Perimeter checked.
Silence is ssshhhhtttt …….. !
silence is golden
silence lends content
a guilty silencethe warning silence before the storm
the silence of the lambsa deafening silence.
the deadly silence of the grave
the silence of the sickbedthe peaceful silence of the study
the overwhelming silence of the Highlands
Silence…
Silence is inconceivable. If you stop talking, then you listen to the hum of life around you. If you stop listening, then your mind and body start chattering at you.
When you die there is nothing to embrace death’s silence while the life around you starts moving and eating.
Silence is destructive interference,
It spawns the greatest ideas,
It yields the perfect coherence..Just ask Newton.
Silence is waves slowly crashing on the beach on a hot summer day. It’s the most relaxing and stress free zone. I can sit or lay down on the soft sand for hours at a time letting my mind wonder wherever it would like.

Silence, seems to be so peaceful
Silence, all I hear is me
Silence, now I am so restful
Silence, the world can let me beSilence, now it seems so loud
Silence, let this be a dream
Silence, I start to miss the crowd
Silence, none can hear my scream
Silence is stillness
Underneath the Aspen trees
I find inner peace
beyond the traffic, a long way into the hills,
under the bed, in the middle of the night,
after a blackbird rustle in the leaf litter,
