Born today is the Giant Panda baby, named Dsing Iob by his or her parents.

Dsing Iob has the traditional high contrast black and white imagery. Eating bamboo sprouts and eucalyptus leaves, this cub will soon grow to be a respected bear.

Registered at Mongolian Mart, gifts may be selected and purchased online. Currency in yuan only, please.

Please share our joy in the National Zoo at the arrival of Mei Xiang’s cub. Born August 23th, 2013 at 5:23 p.m., the cub is cute as a bug and one that you can’t resist to hug. Active, vibrant, healthy and weighting 137 grams (about 4,8 ounces)

With great joy we announce the arrival of Xiao Liwu to the Bamboo Forest.

This ‘little gift’ arrived 100 days ago at 13 incheslong and 3.2 pounds.

Please join us in celebrating next week. Light lunch of bamboo, grasses, bulbs, some insects and fruit will be provided.

No gifts for our ‘little gift’ please.
