Submit your idea via the suggestion box but also include a copy of your idea here (include the link and title for the one you submitted).
Find an existing one via our random spinner (opens in new window) and suggest a way to write it to be the opposite of the original.
For example, the challenge for TDC 99 is “One minute video: you talking excitedly about any online tool. Use a metaphor.” The re-written opposite might be “One minute video: you talking in a dull monotone about any online tool. Use a confusing metaphor.”

Woah…I really went back in time using the Random Spin-O-Mizer, all the way back to TDC 36: Take a photo of a food being served or eaten in an unconventional way.
Let’s break it down and remix, shall we?
(1) Take a (still) photo… now create a multi panel animated gif
(2) …of a food being served or eaten… only now of a beverage being brewed, mixed, concocted or poured
(3) …in an unconventional way…now render this straightforward activity either from multiple angles or at multiple times in the process so as to have it “play out” across the panels.
Time for another animated GIF challenge!

Create “awesomely tasteful” (or not ;-) animated GIF using an illustration–yours or recycled See https://diigo.com/015906
The original daily create tdc176 had the ds106 crowd making “a video that features summer water sports or water recreation”. I’d like to remix it with a Minnesota slant. “Make a video that features winter sports or ice/snow recreation.” Just imagine how “exciting” it would be to capture ice fishing on video. Yah, sure, you betcha’
The original tdc585 “Share a recipe and a story of why it’s so special to you.” could easily be remixed to challenge us to “Share a recipe and a story of why you hate it, or will never make it again.”
Make an audio recording of what is playing on 680 am on your radio? (or any other station you choose) Sept. 24, 2013. Remix of “Make a video of what is playing on channel 106 on your cable? (or make it up)” – tdc187 – July 13, 2012
This is a remix of an earlier Daily Create by GNA that suggested a 36 second video capturing 360-degrees of view. In this shortened version, you create an 18-second video of 180-degrees of view. And why not add a twist to how you see the world? Ignore the horizontal way, if that makes sense for you.

Remix tdc625: Make a tutorial on something you are bad at. Here’s the twist, you need to have one hand behind your back.
https://tdc.ds106.us/tdc19/ A riff on this assignment: Record a video of yourself telling a joke. Don’t read it-tell it.
Record a video of you reading a joke in the most boring voice imaginable. You want to have your audience nod off to sleep. And don’t smile!
