Create a Match Cut Video that Connects Two Scenes

Experiment with a cinematic technique– a match cut “is a cut in film editing between either two different objects, two different spaces, or two different compositions in which an object in the two shots graphically match, often helping to establish a strong continuity of action and linking the two shots metaphorically” (Wikipedia).

A classic example is the scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey where a bone used as a weapon by the ape slowly dissolves to the similar shape of satellite equipped with a nuclear weapon.
