Monday, oh Monday,
Why do you have to come around?
You end the good weekend, so teens don’t make a sound.
They get rowdy for Friday, but what for you?
They moan and groan when they think what they have to do.
You upset kids because they have to go back to school,
But parents get happy because they think they’re so cool.
You make some people’s week providing some distance,
But you still seem so unpopular due to a certain circumstance.
People favor the weekend but don’t take that too rude,
Sometime your time will come around and people will love you too!
