Well That Was a Strange Thing

I was standing on the corner of Winslow Arizona playing my guitar minding my business. All of a sudden a man with a cane starts yelling out that I was singing his song and snatched my guitar from me. He said I was not singing the song correctly and hit me on my knee caps and stole my guitar.

Well, I was standing on the corner of Winslow Arizoner (with all the other peoples that were just standing there boy it was crowded) just minding my own business, when I saw this man with a cane and a guitar. Plus, there was a girl who was holding her knees and looked sad, like she needed a True Friend. So I thought “I bet that girl would be happy if she had a guitar!”

So, I went to ask the man. But he left first. So, I followed him. He went through the streets, back-and-forth, mumbling to himself and swinging his cane at stuff. I thought “Boy, that there is a strange man.”

After a while, he stopped and sat down on a park bench. I thought “Now is the time for me to ask him.” So I went over and climbed up to sit on the bench beside him. At first, he didn’t notice me, and just kept mumbling. After a while, he looked over and saw me!

I said, “My name is Talky Tina.”

His face went funny, and he looked away. Then, he made a swallow in his neck, and then he turned and looked at me again.

I said, “I said, my name is Talky Tina.”

His face went even more funny, and he looked over at me again. And then he said “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH,” and jumped up, and ran away, swinging his cane, leaving the guitar just sitting there.

So then I said, “Well, that was strange.” I got down and took the guitar back to the corner, but the girl was gone.
